In the past years, the northern province of Ninh Binh has focused resources on investing in tourism infrastructure to create a foundation for the province's tourism integration and development. The province has also been paying more attention to ensuring environmental sanitation and making environmental impact assessments, thereby devising proper measures for management as well as serving tourists.

The Government will spend over VND30 trillion on tourism infrastructure development through 2020, according to the Government's latest target program on tourism infrastructure development for period 2016-2020.

Ninh Binh's tourism has developed rapidly over the past few years but its potential has not been fully tapped to become a spearhead economic sector.That fact shows the need for the province to pay heed to developing a well-built tourism infrastructure in an effort to turn the hospitality industry into a main pillar of the local economy.
